Trade Republic Card Benefits and Rewards

Trade Republic offers 1% cashback (which they call saveback) for card transactions, but only with a recurring savings plan. You must invest at least 50 EUR every month, on a recurring basis, to qualify for the 1% cashback on your card transactions. Monthly cap for for the cashback is 15 EUR.

Reality CheckAlthough other cards may advertise higher cashback rates, entry-level users with 1,000 EUR in assets typically receive much lower cashback rates from those cards. When compared at the entry-level tier, Trade Republic Card's 1% cashback offers good value comparing to competitors:

With Trade Republic Card, you'll get a true debit card experience, directly connected to a bank account. You'll receive a Germany-based IBAN bank account number issued in your name, and any funds you deposit into your account will become immediately available for spending on your card.

Not so Great:Third party senders cannot deposit funds into your Trade Republic bank account - you can only receive deposits from accounts in your name. This means you will not be able to receive your fiat withdrawals from exchanges or receive salary payments.

    If you plan to use your card for daily purchases, then daily spending limit is an important consideration for you. Both Trade Republic Card and Nexo Card offer a solid daily spending limit of 10,000 EUR. The daily limit on Coinbase Card is not as high.

    Cashback rewards are a great way to earn back some of the money you spend on your card and is an important consideration as well.
