Gnosis Card Benefits and Rewards

Gnosis doesn’t offer cashback rewards or any additional incentives for using the card.

Gnosis Card is a Debit Card

  • Debit Card
  • Credit Card
  • Prepaid Card
  • EE88 8888 8888 8888 8888
  • Estonia flag IBAN Bank Account
  • in your name

Gnosis Card differs from a traditional debit card, where the balance is typically linked directly to your bank account. With Gnosis Pay, the card has its own separate balance, while Gnosis Pay also provides you with a personal bank account on the side. You'll receive an Estonia-based IBAN bank account number issued in your name.

Useful:Some crypto card companies only allow fiat deposits from accounts that are directly in your name. With Gnosis Pay, third party senders are able to deposit funds into your bank account, which means you can receive fiat withdrawals from exchanges or receive salary payments.

It's Offered in Physical Form, Without an Instant Virtual Equivalent

Gnosis Card is available solely in physical form, unlike 40% of crypto cards offering both physical and virtual versions. This means you'll have to wait for its arrival by mail after completing the KYC Identity Verification.

Wondering about the pros and cons of physical-only format? Here are some highlights:

Physical Card
No Virtual Card
ATM WithdrawalsNo Second Card Number
Required for Car Rentals, HotelsNo Instantly Available Card
Useful When Phone Dies, or no WifiCannot Separate Online Purchases for Safety
Backup Payment MethodCannot Have a 2nd Card with Lower Spend Limits
Cost to Order:

Inconvenience:Since Gnosis Card doesn't support Apple Pay, you will have to take it out of your wallet everytime you pay for something (unless you use Curve).

Gnosis Card Converts Your Crypto on Demand

Gnosis Card offers instant conversion to EUR at the time of purchase. This allows you to hold your crypto and exchange to real-life currency only when you need to. No need to pre-convert your cryptocurrencies or preload the card.

From all crypto cards we reviewed for Europe, WhiteBIT Card, Holyheld Card and Nexo Card offer the cheapest crypto-to-fiat conversions (~0.28%, ~0.5% and ~0.75% respectively), while converting crypto with OWNR Card will cost you the most, ~4.64%.

  • Apple Pay isn't enabled (while 60% of competing crypto cards have it).

If you plan to use your card for daily purchases, then daily spending limit is an important consideration for you. Holyheld Card offers the highest daily spending limit of 10,000 EUR. You will get lower daily limits with Gnosis Card and xPortal Card.

Cashback rewards are a great way to earn back some of the money you spend on your card and is an important consideration as well. Out of the three, xPortal Card offers the best cashback rewards of up to 5%. The cashback rewards for Holyheld Card are not as high. With Gnosis Card, you will have no cashback rewards at all.

To make a good choice, look through all features, as it is an individual choice. If you will mostly do online transactions with this card, then Apple Pay availability may not be a very important feature for you. If you travel a lot, foreign exchange rate will matter. And so on.
