Gnosis Card Has Been Discontinued
Gnosis Pay announced that its dashboard will shut down by the end of 2026, while its card programs will continue through partner apps.
It Was Offered in Physical Form, Without an Instant Virtual Equivalent
Gnosis Card was available solely in physical form, unlike 40% of crypto cards offering both physical and virtual versions. This meant you had to wait for its arrival by mail after completing the KYC Identity Verification.

Low Cost:Compared to the average ~1.4% crypto-to-fiat cost of other cards, converting crypto with Gnosis Card was much more cost-effective (0% + Gas Fees). This meant users would get more EUR for their crypto when using this card.
How Did Gnosis Pay Make Money? – I see 0% fees here. Am I missing something?
Every time someone made a payment with their Gnosis Card, the merchant (Starbucks, Amazon, etc.) paid a small fee on that transaction to their bank that operates the POS terminal. This is called the interchange fee. The merchant's bank passed part of that fee to Visa, and they shared a portion of it with Gnosis Pay.
So while cardholders didn't pay a fee directly, Gnosis Pay still earned a small amount from every transaction - that's how card providers make money.
